Every 13 minutes a woman will die of breast cancer.
Statistics say that 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in her lifetime.
Early detection is the single biggest chance of survival.
On Thursday, January 18th, Southridge will "Go Pink" in order to raise awareness of breast cancer. We invite everyone to wear pink to honor others' fight with cancer while raising awareness within the high school and the community beyond. This kind of experience truly transcends the lines of the basketball court and touches many different lives! We set a goal to donate $1000. However, to reach our goals we need your help! To raise money for this event, we are selling Pink Swish IT shirts and taking donations all evening.
All Proceeds will go to the Kay Yow/WBCA Fund
